What Happens When Your Cleaner Can't Make It?
No app can make a backup cleaner appear
A cleaner can get in an accident, have a medical emergency, or simply be unable to make it. When that happens, the cleaning sometimes will not happen. Most cleaners who could cover on short notice are already booked themselves. Promising a fast replacement would not be honest.
What Turnover Time actually does
The cleaner gets a one-tap link to confirm that the cleaning is done. If checkout is today and the unit still has not been confirmed clean, Turnover Time alerts the host at 2 PM for a back-to-back turnover, or 9 AM otherwise. The point is to raise the alarm before the next guest arrives, not after they open the door.
Early warning is the real safety net
Finding out in time gives you choices. You can call the cleaner, buy time with the incoming guest, clean the property yourself, or start calling for emergency help. None of those options is ideal, but every one is better than a guest walking into a dirty unit with zero warning.
Make the one-tap confirmation a habit
This only works when cleaners tap the confirmation link as soon as they finish. Set that expectation directly with every cleaner, just like you would set expectations about keys or supply levels. If a cleaner has not responded to the original cleaning request, you can also send a fresh one-tap prompt asking whether they have accepted the job.
Pricing
Turnover Time plans run from $5/month for 1 property to $26/month for 7 properties. Every plan includes cleaner requests, reminders, and clean-confirmation alerts.
Bottom line
Turnover Time does not promise a replacement cleaner. It gives you something more realistic: enough warning to act before a missed cleaning becomes a guest emergency.
